<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Mr Conrad Crisafulli, the Acting Chair of the State Library of Western Australia Foundation, today announced the call for applications for the inaugural Kay Poustie Scholarship.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:0cm;margin-right:45.0pt;margin-bottom:6.0pt;margin-left:0cm">
<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">“This scholarship recognises Kay’s immense contribution to the library profession throughout her career and<span style="color:black"> her belief in an international perspective for the profession,” said Mr Crisafulli.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:0cm;margin-right:45.0pt;margin-bottom:6.0pt;margin-left:0cm">
<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">This scholarship takes the form of an International Study Grant and will enable a WA-based librarian to travel overseas to learn more about innovative library practices and to bring that knowledge back
to Western Australia.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt"><span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Funds for the scholarship have been provided by generous donations to the Foundation. To continue the scholarship each year, the Foundation is encouraging
further donations to its In Memoriam campaign.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
