The Department of State Development Library is a dynamic special library
providing information services to assist with the responsible
development of the State (http://www.dsd.wa.gov.au/)

 

The Library is seeking an enthusiastic, suitably qualified person for
the following position:

 

Library Technician - Full Time - 6 month contract (Salary based on PSGA
Award Level 2.4 - $54,900 pa) Start Date negotiable mid October 

 

Are you an experienced Library Technician or new graduate looking for an
exciting opportunity to work in a State Government agency in the mining
and resources sector?

In this role you will support a team of information professionals within
the Library and be responsible for duties such as serials
administration, lending services, collection maintenance and basic
client services.

Eligibility for Library Technician membership of ALIA is an advantage
for this role along with good communication, interpersonal and
organisational skills.
