The Department of State Development Library is a dynamic, special
library providing information services to assist with the responsible
development of the State (http://www.dsd.wa.gov.au/

The Library is seeking a qualified Library Technician to take on the
following role:

 

Library Technician - Full Time - 6 month contract with possibility of
extension

 

Salary based on PSGA Award Level 2.4 - $54,900 pa

 

Working hours are flexible and negotiable. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a State Government agency in
the mining and resources sector.

In this role you will support a team of information professionals and be
responsible for duties such as serials administration, lending services,
collection maintenance and basic client services. As such it would be
beneficial to have experience working within this industry previously.

Eligibility for Library Technician membership of ALIA is an advantage
for this role along with good communication, interpersonal and
organisational skills.
