[Hum-DIS] To all our students who are affected by the floods in eastern Australia

Dear all

 

I've just returned from leave and while I was in dry Perth, we had
endless news and coverage of the devastating rains and floods in eastern
Australia.  On behalf of the Department of Information Studies (and I'm
certain I can speak for our students as well) I would like to express
our sympathy to students who have been affected by the devastating
floods.  

 

As semester one gets closer and if you feel that your study will be
affected as a results of the floods, please do not hesitate to contact
the Department for advice.

 

We only wish we lived closer so that we, like so many fellow Australians
are doing, could pitch in and help you in some material way.
