[Hum-DIS] Curtin Information Studies Prizegiving breakfast 22 Feb, 2011 @ 8 a.m. - RSVP DUE THIS WEEK

Dear students

 

This is a reminder email to those of you who wish to attend this
celebratory function and support your fellow students.  It's the start
of an important day for many:  prizegiving brekky in the morning and
graduation that night.

 

If you have not already done so, please remember to let me know if you
wish to join us for the breakfast.

In recent times we have taken to holding a Prizewinners breakfast on the
morning of the February graduation Day.  This is not only an occasion
where our Information Studies prizewinners and their fans gather; it
also gives current and past students the opportunity to support the
lucky folk, and network at the beginning of the academic year.  This
timing makes it possible for interstate graduates and family coming for
graduation to also attend.  So all are welcome.   All prize winners have
now been notified.

 

 

I will need your RSVP to let the restaurant know how the numbers are
going.

 

This year's will be:

ON: Tuesday 22 February 2011 

AT:   Scholars Restaurant, next to the main cafeteria in Bldg 104 see
map: http://properties.curtin.edu.au/maps/ 

STARTING AT: 8 a.m.

COST:   $16.20 PER PERSON for set menu: fruit platter, Danish fruit
pastries, sweet/savoury muffins, orange juice, tea/coffee.

RSVP to me please by close of business Thursday 17th February 2011.
