Senior Business Analyst - Information Management
An excellent opportunity exists to join a team responsible for the
implementation of an electronic Information Management System. You will
be a Senior Business Analyst with proven experience in providing strategic
and tactical business analysis support for an information management
transformation.
You will be passionate about developing your knowledge and understanding
of a variety of business streams, processes and technologies. Your
advanced communication and training skills will assist you to inform,
educate, negotiate, mentor and influence personnel at all levels of the
organisation. You will thrive in an environment with high demand and
conflicting priorities.
To be successful you will possess:
o Experience in documenting, developing and implementing electronic
information management systems
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including
experience
in documentation of requirements, facilitating group workshops, business
cases and management presentations.
o Demonstrated competency of a significant range of business analysis
and
methods, tools and techniques.
o Well developed project planning, scheduling and tracking
capabilities.
o Demonstrated experience in mapping and documenting data flows,
relationship models and processes as well as system support documentation.
o Demonstrated experience of development methodologies and testing
lifecycles.
o Experience in design, development and delivery of educational and
support documentation suitable for the audience.
o Excellent task management, priority management, negotiation and
change
management skills.
o Relevant senior business analysis qualifications or certifications
In this role you will be responsible for planning, performing and
reporting on all business analysis tasks required for the successful
delivery of the information management project. You will have relevant
qualifications or certifications and understand business drivers, identify
issues, determine requirements and priorities. You will ensure
identification of solution options, their costs and benefits. You will
analyse the current situation, conduct risk or impact assessments,
engineer new processes or re-engineer existing processes and provide
significant input to the development of detailed business architecture.
You will also assist with scope analysis and other project management or
quality assurance activities.
Ideally you will have gained some experience within the Financial Services
area and are familiar with project management software, such as Microsoft
Project and Project Server with a sound understanding of Industry Standard
platforms, such as Microsoft, SharePoint, and Office based productivity
tools.
