LIBRARY TECHNICIAN POSITION

The Swan Valley Anglican Community School has a permanent position
available for a highly motivated, experienced and energetic Library
Technician commencing Term 4, 2010.

This position is a supportive role to the Librarian with duties
providing paraprofessional library services to this customer-focused
library that supports the educational, recreational and informational
goals of the Swan Valley Anglican Community School and its community. 

Duties of this position include management and maintenance of the AMLIB
Library system, recording of programs off-air (including ClickView and
Foxtel), Library promotion, ICT and other duties as directed by the
Librarian.

*         Requirements and Qualifications:

*          

*         1. Eligibility for Library Technician membership of the
Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is highly
desirable. 

*          

*         2. At least three years experience in a similar position.

*          

*         3. A National Criminal History Record Check (as issued by the
Western Australian Department of Education), MCEETYA and Working with
Children Check are requirements of this position.
