[Hum-DIS] Catching up at the ASA Conference in Melbourne - Fri, 15th Oct '10

Dear Students,
If you are based in Melbourne or attending the Australian Society of
Archivists (ASA) conference, please read on ........

I will be in Melbourne from 11 to 17 Oct '10, and would like to take
this opportunity to meet up with past and current students at the
following event, open to non-delegates. 

*         Interested in a Champagne Soiree on Friday 15 October (5pm -
7pm)

Public Record Office Victoria invites you to a special champagne soiree
at Old Treasury Building to toast the Australian Society of Archivists
2010 conference and view the new exhibition. The West Gate exhibition is
brand new and just around the corner from Rydges Melbourne - this soiree
is a great way to fill in time between the conclusion of conference
events that day and any SIG dinners that night. 

 

Event Details: Old Treasury Building, 20 Spring Street, Melbourne.

Places are strictly limited, RSVP by Friday 8 October to 
info at oldtreasurybuilding.org.au 

 

I have checked with Dale Campisi, Co-ordinator, Marketing and
Communications and she looks forward to students coming along for the
above event. Email Dale at the above address to RSVP. 

Drop me an email if you are able to join me at the event and we can over
a glass of champagne view the exhibition and catch up. 

After the event, if we decide to proceed for dinner we can decide where
to go. I hear there are many restaurants in Melbourne and we can easily
walk into an affordable one near the PROV. If you are working, meet me
at 7pm at PROV (at the exhibition area) and we can go for dinner. Here
