Interested members of the public  are invited to attend the launch of
the Western Australian Folklore Archive by Professor Graham Seal with a
performance by comedian and yarn-spinner Kel Watkins

Curtin University: Wednesday 1 December at 5.15pm

The Archive collects, records, preserves and gives the public access to
the rich folk traditions, past and present, of Western Australia. It is
the only state folklore archive in Australia and provides a unique and
valuable resource for research, education and tourism. Professor Graham
Seal from the Australian Folklore Research Unit at Curtin donated the
Archive to Curtin University Library in 2008.

Date: Wednesday 1 December at 5.15pm (guests to be seated by 5.10pm)
Venue: Tim Winton Lecture Theatre, Building 213, Curtin University,
Bentley
The lecture will be followed by light refreshments.
