An experienced Librarian or Library Technician is sought for a short
term contract (2 months with possible extension) in a specialist
technical Library in Leederville.

The pay rate and nature of the role will vary depending upon the skills
and experience of the successful applicant. 
Responsibilities: 

	*	Cataloguing/copy cataloguing technical, multi-media, and
electronic materials and print material. 
	*	Catalogue maintenance using Symphony 
	*	Journal accessioning and circulation

 

Knowledge and Experience: 

	*	Experience in integrated library systems, knowledge of
Symphony an advantage 
	*	Working Knowledge of Marc, UDC, and LCSH subject
headings essential 
	*	Knowledge of LADD (Libraries Australia Document
Delivery)
	*	Good analytical and problem-solving skills 

Customer Service 

	*	A team player, innovative and able to work independently

	*	Strong focus on customer service
