An opportunity exists for an experienced Records Project Officer at
Edith
Cowan University (ECU). This position is a fixed term contract until the
end
of 2011 with a strong possibility of extension beyond this period.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
* Reviewing current record practices within business units to
successfully
adopt efficient and compliant practices that satisfy broad business
requirements and reduce duplication.
* Conduct business process analysis of existing record keeping practices
to
develop and implement the use of Keyword AAA thesaurus file
classifications.
* Undertake the delivery of education and training to ensure appropriate
understanding of records management practice and principles (e.g.
classification and Retention and Disposal).
* Assist in the implementation of an EDRMS across ECU to achieve agreed
targets and outcomes of the EDRMS Project.
* Contribute to the implementation of cultural change strategies and
initiatives in accordance with the Cultural Change Plan.
