Colleagues,
The Defence Materiel Organisation's Land Systems Division is requiring
the services of 2 x FTE full time non ongoing employees to provide
leadership and undertake Sentencing/Archiving duties for the Division.
These are temporary non ongoing positions: 2 x APS 4 positions located
in Victoria Barracks Melbourne for a period of 12 months.

Expression of Interest
APS Level 4 x 2 FTE
$56,996 - $62,567
Victoria Barracks Melbourne (Non-ongoing)
DUTIES:
* Supervise a small project team performing file management tasks
including sentencing action on corporate files in accordance with
Defence Records Management Policy using current Administrative Functions
Disposal Authority (AFDA), Records Disposal Authority (RDA) and/or
General Disposal Authority (GDA).
SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Ability to supervise a small team.
2. Ability to understand and apply instructions and guidelines
and accurately perform a range of straightforward administrative tasks.
3. Ability to initiate action, organise work, set priorities and
meet deadlines.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and to establish effective
working relationships.
5. A knowledge and understanding of modern Records Management
practices, policies, and techniques with emphasis on appraisal,
sentencing and disposal skills, or ability to quickly acquire.
6. Demonstrated computing and keyboard skills, including the use
of modern information systems and Microsoft Office software.
