Dear Aus-Archivist members,

 

Just wanting to let you know of an archivist position that has just come
up at the Australian War Memorial.

 

The Curator, Official Records manages the Commonwealth archival records
held in the Memorial's Research Centre Collection, including material
such as Unit War Diaries, the records of C. E. W. Bean and a diverse
range of operational records of Australia's Defence Forces during
wartime.  The Curator manages a small team and is expected to provide
leadership in achieving identified goals, and provide advice as
appropriate to the Senior Curator, Official and Private Records.
