Good morning,

 

Muswellbrook Shire Council is currently seeking applicants for two roles
within the Upper Hunter Regional Library at the Muswellbrook Library
Headquarters:

 

*	Technical Services Librarian

-        Duties:                          The Technical Services
Librarian will develop, implement and evaluate Technical Services for
the Library Service. The key duties for the role involve selection and
cataloguing, and web site development.

-        Qualifications:                A Degree or Graduate Diploma in
Library and Information Studies or equivalent. Previous relevant work
experience is highly desirable, particularly in the areas of cataloguing
and electronic resources; however, graduates with limited experience are
also encouraged to apply.

 

*	Customer Services Librarian

-        Duties:                          The Customer Services
Librarian will be responsible for Customer Services to the Library. The
key duties for the role involve circulation and reader assistance.

-        Qualifications:                A Degree or Graduate Diploma in
Library and Information Studies or equivalent. Previous relevant work
experience is highly desirable, particularly in the areas of cataloguing
and electronic resources; however, graduates with limited experience are
also encouraged to apply.

these roles. It would be great if you could circulate this information
to library students at your University. Graduates or students near
completion of their studies are encouraged to apply.
