 Library and Information Science Courses 

to participate in a

Survey and Focus Group

REMINDER

 

Dear Current Students and Recent Graduates

 

To those current students and recent graduates who have completed the
survey - please accept our sincere thanks. Your time and effort will
make a difference. 

 

To all other current students or recent graduates of a library and
information science (LIS) course at an Australian institution, 

we would like to invite you to participate in research about education
for the library and information professions.

 

The Australian Teaching and Learning Council has initiated a national
study into education for the Information Professions 

(for example, librarians and library technicians, teacher librarians,
records managers and archivists, and information and knowledge
managers). 

 

The outcomes from the project will have a significant bearing on
education for the information professions in Australia and on the
quality of 

Australia's future information professionals. Details on the study can
be found at: www.liseducation.org.au

 

We have developed separate online surveys for current LIS students and
recent graduates.

 

If you are currently studying for the information professions, we would
appreciate your participation in the current student's survey:

If you have completed your study for the information professions since
January 2009, please take the time to complete the recent graduate's

Both surveys include an invitation to participate in a further focus
group.

 

The survey remain open until  Friday 20 August 2010.
