Duties: The Reference officer facilitates public access to archival
material by providing reference services to the public, including
responding to remote enquiries, preparing finding aids and assisting
visiting researchers. They will participate in Public Program
presentations, including reader education session, seminars and
workshops for student and community groups. The Reference Officer will
also be responsible for the access examination of records for public
access and prepare appropriate documentation. They will work with
archival records, including digitising and copying records, repackaging,
data entry, collection review, and physically retrieving and returning
records to the repository.
Eligibility: This position is a designated security assessed position.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a security
clearance.
