Contract position - Oil & Gas - BHP Billiton Petroleum - Assistant
Librarian

BHP Billiton Petroleum is seeking a person to assist the Technical
Librarian with the daily maintenance of the Technical Information
Centre. The work involves cataloguing and archiving data and assisting
the client base with inquiries.
The person should have a steady approach to work and be able to work
autonomously once systems trained. Experience with Petroleum data,
cataloguing and provision of a library and information service would be
advantageous.
Being MS Office and Outlook trained is required. Training in the Library
Management System, Basis Plus and the organisational document management
system, Documentum, will be provided. This contract position is full
time for 3 months, starting on or around the 4th of May 2009.
