Accessing Archives Online - how to use RecordSearch effectively

Free Introductory Seminar and Tour

 

Learn how to access the exciting collection of Commonwealth government
records held by the National Archives of Australia, using RecordSearch,
the Archives' online database. Discover how to search, view already
digitised records online, request copies of records not yet digitised
and much more.

 

The NAA collection is a wonderful resource for family historians and
professional researchers.  

 

The tour will include the repository and an opportunity to view a
display of original and facsimile records.  Morning tea is provided. 

 

WHEN:   Wednesday 12 November 2008

 

WHERE:  National Archives of Australia, Perth Office

384 Berwick Street, East Victoria Park WA 6101 - free parking outside
the front door or easy to get to using public transport.

 

WHEN:  Starts at 10.30am, finishes approximately 12.00 noon. Guests are
welcome to stay on and make use of the Reading Room facilities to do
personal research.

 

Places are strictly limited so booking is essential.
