We have an opening for an Assistant Information Officer.
The job mainly involves contacting community services agencies to update
details of events on a quarterly basis as well as updating comprehensive
details of programs and services for the Community Services Database. We
also have a small library which may be expanding. Other duties will
evolve as new initiatives at Parent Help Centre get under way.

What's the job?
The Assistant Information Officer undertakes a range of information
management activities to service clients' needs and meet departmental
objectives, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.
What are we looking for? / Work related requirements
ESSENTIAL
1. Demonstrated experience in an information environment and working
with databases and computerised information systems.
2. Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows
Explorer.
3. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the
ability to interact and negotiate with people at all levels.
4. Well developed organisational and time management skills with a
demonstrated ability to prioritise workload.
5. Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision or in a team
environment.
6. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
DESIRABLE
7. Knowledge of Inmagic DB/Textworks.
