This conference has been resurrected and is a post graduate research
event.  The email below advises how "undergraduates" might attend.  I
suspect this would also apply to coursework post grads but you would
need to check.

As you may know the Humanities Graduate Research Conference Engaging
place(s)/engaging culture(s) 5-7 November 2008 is underway.

We have had several requests from undergraduates to attend the
Conference and the Committee have decided to allow them  to attend as
observers.  If you know of students wanting to attend please direct them
