Hi Kerry and Mark

 

I'm hoping that you might be able to assist with finding a final year
(or similar) student who would be interested in the attached job.  The
role has changed somewhat since I worked there in that the position will
be reporting to an overarching Records Manager/Archivist who has yet to
be appointed.  It's a very hands on role and is a great opportunity
because it allows the management of records from their creation to their
final disposition.  The location is perfect on the river at
Manning/Salter Point right next door to Aquinas College.  There are
about 20 people who work in the office, and everyone is very friendly.
It's a great atmosphere with daily shared morning tea.  

 

There is no computerised records management system at this point in
time, although it is envisaged that a national system will be acquired
and implemented in the next 2-3 years.  The archival management system
in use is Archives Manager.
