The National Archives helps the Australian Government manage its
information now and into the future.
The Agency Relations Section, Government Information Management Branch
of the National Archives of Australia is looking to fill APS 4 and APS 5
positions for 6 months and APS 6 positions for 6 and 12 months. We are
seeking enthusiastic, creative people who will enjoy the challenge of
finding new ways to meet the business information management needs of
government.
The Section is responsible for assisting Commonwealth Government
agencies with information management, advising on and approving records
authorities, developing and maintaining relationships with agencies, and
providing advice on appraisal, disposal, custody and ownership matters.
We are looking for people who have an understanding of and experience in
information and records management or appraisal, who will contribute
fresh ideas on how the Archives can best meet the needs of agencies in
the current fast changing and challenging technical environment.
To be eligible for engagement applicants would normally be an Australian
citizen and the successful applicants will be required to undertake a
security assessment.
