Records Solutions is recognised as an industry leader in the provision of consulting, staff placement and operational services in record and document management across Australia.
Our prestigious and valued client requires an experienced Records Coordinator to operate in the Ballarat area providing significant operational and strategic advice, support and hands on delivery in driving this key operational function.
The position is responsible for maintenance and development of the organisation's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) including policies and procedures, business analysis, implementation and training in support of the system. The position is also responsible for the operational records management function across key parts of the organisation.
The organisation currently uses DataWorks as their prime records and document management system and is prepared to provide training in DataWorks for the preferred applicant.
This position requires a records management professional with experience at a senior level, excellent communication skills and experience in the use of EDRMS. This exciting and dynamic position is being offered as a long service leave replacement for 6 months.
For you to be a success in this role it is important that you;
· Have a proven track record in Records Management with experience operating at a senior level;
· Have proven experience in the supervision of staff;
· Possess a working knowledge of the education sector (if possible);
· Can demonstrate considerable experience and understanding in computerised Records Management systems;
§ Possess well developed communication skills (verbal and written) ; and
§ Possess the ability to quickly establish credibility and can effectively influence others.
Tertiary qualifications in Records Management or related field are preferable but extensive experience without qualifications will be considered.
This is an URGENT placement so early applications will receive immediate assessment and referral. Applicants must be available to commence in early March 2008. Travel expenses will be considered for applicants outside the Ballarat region.
