Subject: [WAIN] reminder New Norcia Library Lecture

Registrations for the New Norcia Library Lecture on Friday September 5
close at the end of next week, so I urge you to send your registrations
and payment soon. It is excellent value at $77 for adults, and $30 for
students. Registration form below. 
 
The key speaker, Giles Mandelbrote, will speak about purchasing early
printed books for the British Library collection. In the afternoon,
Julianne Simpson will talk about the Wellcome Library, Barbara Patison
from the State Library of WA will talk about purchasing special heritage
materials, and Grant Stone will talk on accommodating special
collections within a library's main collection.
  
The day begins with morning tea at 10 am and finishes at 3 pm. Please
send registration and payment to Sue Johnson, New Norcia Library, New
Norcia WA 6509, or contact me on 9654 8060 Wednesday to Friday, or at
library at newnorcia.wa.edu.au
