National Archives of Australia (Perth Office) presents
Land and Property Records "Wide Brown Land" - Seminar and Tour
This free and informative seminar will introduce you to the public
services of the National Archives of Australia. We will examine the
wonderful research resources in our collection and demonstrate how you
can access them online. This seminar will focus in particular on our
holdings of land and property records, covering areas such as
lighthouses, territories, aviation and railways.
The tour will include the repository and an opportunity to view a
display of original and facsimile records. Morning tea is provided.
WHEN: Wednesday 14 May 2008
WHERE: National Archives of Australia, Perth Office
384 Berwick Street, East Victoria Park WA 6101 - free parking outside
the front door.
WHEN: Starts at 10.30am, finishes approximately 12.00am. Guests are
welcome to stay on and make use of the Reading Room facilities.
Places are strictly limited and booking is essential.
