[Hum-DIS] ALIA President's visit to Curtin and web links

Roxanne Missingham, ALIA President (see: http://www.alia.org.au/  and

visited us at Curtin today in the Library and Information Services
Management class.

She and the current ALIAWest  - see
http://www.alia.org.au/groups/aliawest/     Convenor, Jill Benn  (a
former student) gave two very interesting and enthusiastic presentations
to the class.

Amongst the many issues that come under the heading of "being
professional" that were discussed was the Info Studies list of prizes -
