Permanent Full Time
Salary Range: $46,772 - $49,311 per annum
The City of Fremantle's Library Service is seeking a highly motivated
and experienced librarian for this demanding position. As the
successful applicant, you will manage the Local History Collection and
be responsible for all tasks relating to acquisition, preservation,
accessibility and promotion. You will have exceptional customer service
and sound organization and planning skills, with the ability to
effectively supervise a small team of staff and volunteers. You will
have the ability to lead and coordinate projects including the
digitisation of collections, as well as a general knowledge of the
Fremantle and East Fremantle areas.
If you feel you have the knowledge and experience in Local History
collection development and management which can lead this area of the
Library to outstanding future achievements, we want to hear from you!
Applicants must be eligible for Associate membership of the Australian
Library and Information Association. An attractive salary package will
be negotiated dependant on experience and qualifications.
