A temporary position has recently become available at Murdoch University
Library

 

Library Officer - HEW 03/04

1 Full time Position - 1.0 (37 hours 30 minutes per week)

Full-time salary ranges from   $35,770 - $44,143 per annum.
Temporary contract until July 2008

 

Expressions of interest are invited from enthusiastic and client-focused
people with an interest in technical services for a temporary Library
Officer position in Murdoch University Library. 

One full time position is available. Current students or recently
graduated Library Technicians are encouraged to apply.

 

Appointments will be a temporary contract ending July 2008.

The position is in Collection Services (Serials and Electronic Resources
Unit).

 

Collection Services is responsible for ordering, acquiring and providing
access to the Library's information resources in a timely manner. A
range of material formats is handled, including print and online. Areas
of activity for this position include maintaining records in the
Library's bibliographic database and processing received items for
inclusion in the collection.

 

All Library staff are classified as shift workers.
