Duties: The Archives has an outstanding opportunity for an innovative
thinker and manager as Director, Policy (Information Management) and
Training in the Government Information Management Branch.

In this role you will manage the Section to assist the Archives develop
and implement policies, strategies, training and other practical
initiatives to improve records management in all Commonwealth agencies.
To do this you will need to have excellent people skills and be able to
demonstrate high level knowledge and experience in information and
records management, information technology, public administration,
policy and procedures development and the application of legislation to
Australian Government agencies. 

Your skills as a concise and confident communicator will help the
Archives establish relationships that will be important to implement
change and build capability both within the Archives team and across the
government sector.

Eligibility Requirements: This position is a designated security
assessed position. The successful applicant will be required to undergo
a security clearance.
