There are two vacant positions

National Archives of Australia
The National Archives of Australia (NAA) is an Executive Agency with
responsibility to preserve valuable Commonwealth records as part of the
archival resources of Australia and make them accessible to present and
future generations. The Archives has offices in all states and
territories. Selection documentation for National Archives of Australia

Archives are covered by a Certified Agreement which can also be viewed

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
National Coordination, Perth Office
APS Level 4 $48873-52664, Perth (No. 30515, 30516)
Closing date: Thursday, 3 May 2007
Duties: Respond to inquiries from the public, assist visitors to the
reading room, and facilitate access to Commonwealth records in
accordance with the Archives Act 1983. Manage records data and review
projects; process transfers; register series; arrange and describe
collection items; and manage preservation and destruction programs.
Operate electronic recordkeeping systems and databases and accurately
enter and extract data. Organise and/or deliver training courses or
public seminars on archival practices. Undertake other duties as
directed.
Eligibility/other requirements: These positions are designated security
assessed positions. The successful applicants will be required to
undergo a security clearance.
