  *   Salary – $45.34 per hour, Band 6A Moreland Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2018
  *   Temporary (until 30 June 2021), part-time position (0.4 FTE)

About the role

Currently, we’re seeking a talented Access and Inclusion Officer to support Council promote access and inclusion for people with a disability in our workplace and our community. Reporting directly to the Coordinator of Community Development and Inclusion, and working alongside our Disability Planner, you’ll have a diverse range of responsibilities, including the review and development of Council’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and implementing several important projects that increase disability access and inclusion in Moreland.

Skills  and experience required to perform this role

  *   Lived experience in disability
  *   Demonstrated experience in implementing strategies to improve disability access and inclusion
  *   High level communication and consultation skills
  *   Extensive knowledge of disability within a human rights context
