There are only a few tickets left to see Professor Isaac Prilleltensky next Monday night in the heart of Melbourne (see attached flier for details). Watch Isaac weave his powerful research with his piercing political analysis and tremendous sense of humour like no one else.

This workshop will explore some of the potential far reaching impacts of collective trauma for communities from refugee backgrounds in the resettlement context, and potential recovery processes.

2)      Community capacity building: engaging with communities about mental health

Explores barriers preventing people from refugee backgrounds from accessing support for mental health struggles, and examines ways of engaging with communities around issues affecting wellbeing.

The College of Health Psychology are also hosting Networking Dinner on August 13 and presenting on the topic 'Understanding and treating Mood Disorders in Older Adults' that may be of interest to community psychologists.
