Apologies for any cross-postings but it's exciting that this is the first time the popular Getting Started as Women in Psychology event has been run nationally as a webinar.
Please bring it to the attention of any students or early career women in psychology who might be interested.



The APS Women and Psychology Interest Group is pleased to present the first national event of 2017!

Webinar: Getting Started as Women in Psychology.

Date: Wed 7th June, 2017

Time: 6.30-8pm.



This webinar will provide an opportunity for emerging psychologists to gain an understanding of the process of transitioning from study to practice and employment.



Panellists have a thorough knowledge of the paths to registration and to commencing as a practitioner in various fields:

·          Carmel O'Brien: Convenor, Women and Psychology Interest Group

·          Dr. Alexis Kambouropoulos: Cairnmillar Institute

·          Natasha Vanags-Smith: Early career psychologist currently working as a youth mental health clinician at Headspace

·          Ursula Benstead: Psychologist in Private Practice and in the community service sector

·          Heather Gridley: Manager of Public Interest, APS; Former Lecturer VU



 1.5 CPD hours.
