Subject: FW: Reminder: Professional Issues Forum CPD Event 10 Feb 2016

Dear Heather,

I wonder whether the upcoming CCN CPD event may be of interest to community psychs too? We are having a professional issues forum looking at the NDIS, and recent changes to legislation around decision-making capacity, POA and guardianship.

Please feel free to distribute the attached as you see fit.

Kind regards,
Alexia

Dear Colleague,

Early bird registration for our next CCN Vic Section CPD event ends on Feb 2nd. This event is to be held on Wednesday 10 February 2016 at St Vincent's Hospital.

The event will be a professional issues forum looking at two areas particularly relevant to Clinical Neuropsychologists working in both public and private settings:

(1) The implications of recent legislative changes in Decision Making Capacity, Powers of Attorney & Guardianship, with a presentation from Liz Mullaly; and

(2) The implications of the upcoming rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, with a presentation from Dr Linda Borg.

Please note that the forum presentations are scheduled to commence at 6.15pm, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues at 7.45pm.

Kind regards,
