The Institute of Community Psychology Aotearoa is pleased to announce the
programme for the Trans-Tasman Community Psychology

Conference, *Poverty and Inequality*, to be held at Tapu Te Ranga Marae,
Island Bay, Wellington, Wednesday evening 18th April and Thursday 19th
April 2012.



Keynote speakers

Katie Thomas - University of Western *Australia on Australian Aristocracy:
The vulture*

*rises from the ashes*

Charles Waldegrave and Peter King - The Family Centre on *Community
participation in measuring poverty and inequality*.

Also featuring a political panel of Metira Turei (Greens), Hone Harawira
(Mana) and Nanaia Mahuta (Labour)

And paper presentations from researchers and activist from Barnardos,
Victoria University of Technology (Melbourne), University of Waikato,
Australian Institute of Psychology, Poverty Action Waikato, School of
Psychology Massey, Te Ropu Whariki Massey.
