Program Evaluation: Who for and What results?

Presenter: Dr Delwyn Goodrick
Monday 4th June 2012
11am-12noon

Redback Conferences have informed us that they will again continue to take bookings over the weekend for Dr Delwyn Goodrick's second webinar on Monday at 11 am EST. (WA readers please subtract 2 hrs, and SA readers 0.5 hr.) Feedback from the first seminar was overwhelmingly positive.

Dr Goodrick is a community psychologist who undertakes program evaluation and social research with a wide range of government and private sector clients. She is an experienced trainer having conducted over 200 specialist workshops in research and program evaluation in Australia and overseas. Delwyn has particular interests in health and education program areas. She currently works part-time in a research institute that undertakes mid to large scale evaluation projects and works part-time in her own private consultancy practice.

Last Monday she introduced a very appreciative group of participants to key issues in evaluation, including Program Logic. On Monday 4 June, she will focus on practical tips about ways to engage diverse stakeholders and integrate evaluation into program planning and implementation, and how to maximise utilisation of the data collected. Examples will be based on evaluations conducted across a range of human service programs to ensure the theory covered in these sessions is grounded in practice.
