I don't usually send out group emails, but just got this message from the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. 

 

 

Dear Friends and Volunteers of the ASRC,

 

the Herald Sun today continues its racial vilification of asylum seekers by asking the disgusting question 'Should Australia turn boat people back at our borders'?

 

Currently 83% are voting yes! It's like I'm back in 2001 all over again, feel so angry and sad to see this happen all over again.

 

We need to take a stand!
