presents
Corporate Social Responsibility or a New Model?
A tension in a globalising world is the relationship between
corporations and society. With cynicism about the 'trickle-down' effect
of economic growth, and fears about the impact of a
recession/depression, business is being pressured to be more conscious
of society.
* Can corporate social responsibility re-align business with
society or is it simply 'greenwash'?
* Are businesses responding to real societal needs or have they
found a new marketing tool?
* Should multi-national corporations behave differently when they
operate in host countries?
* Will different forms of social enterprise emerge 'after the
meltdown'?
