community

A quick note along with the attached flier about a free forum on social
inclusion and Mothers Living Well to be held October 15. 9.30-12.30pm.
Childcare and lunch will be provided (please RSVP). The forum will be a
chance for a range of people including community workers, community
members, community researchers as well as Bayswater locals involved in
the Mothers Living Well project and anyone interested in questions of
social inclusion/ community engagement and their relevance to promoting
mental wellbeing in a community. It will use the learnings from the
Mothers Living Well Project so far while outlining these in the context
of evidence and theoretical frameworks relevant to the mental health
promotion area. It will also be an opportunity to meet and network with
others interested in community engagement and social inclusion, and to
hear more about a project that tries to pull a few of the different
threads together (of community engagement, gender based analysis,
environmental change, social change and a focus on improving wellbeing)
on the ground in one community.

Wishing you all the best,
