Hi, my name is Lisa Derham, I am currently an honours psychology
student at Deakin University. I am writing my thesis on volunteer
behaviour and have recently run a volunteering event - a backyard
blitz - where over 120 volunteers completely overhauled a public
school's grounds. This involved the use of a bobcat, excavator and
over $5000 worth of donated materials.

I am keenly interested in community psychology, have experience in
facilitating groups and am looking for a paid position as a
probationary psychology next year. I am considering applying for the
VU community psych masters in 2009, but intend to do it part time so
that I can complete the probationary psych requirements.

I am based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs but am happy to travel
