Project Manager: Volunteering in Emergency Management 

Whittlesea Community Connections seek a motivated and suitably qualified
person to inform, develop and implement strategic approaches to enhance
volunteer participation within emergency management services in the City
of Whittlesea.

The successful candidate will possess: -
- Qualifications and experience relevant to field- based research and in
the development
and implementation of strategic plans
- A sound understanding of both the community and emergency services
sector
- A strong understanding of volunteerism and principles of community
development and
- Highly developed analytical skills with strong written and verbal
communication skills

The Volunteering in Emergency Management Project is an initiative of the
Whittlesea Volunteer Partnership that consists of Whittlesea Community
Connections, CFA, the City of Whittlesea and the Department for
Victorian Communities.

The Project Manager will report to the Whittlesea Emergency Management
Board and will work closely with Whittlesea Community Connections'
Volunteer Resource Service team.

Salary: up to $54, 423 (inc. leave loading). Generous salary sacrifice
arrangements are available.
