About the position<br>
Duties will include but are not limited to:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Create and maintain accurate online records to ensure reading list, high-use and resource sharing materials are accessible and discoverable to meet learning and teaching needs.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Collect and report on statistical data relating to reading list, resource sharing and high-use materials to identify operational improvements.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reformat and supply information resources for reading list, resource sharing and high use materials.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Build reading lists beginning to end and regularly liaise with Senior Learning Librarians in relation to reading lists.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Participate in face-to-face<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>and online<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>Library<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>programs<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>and

Skills and Experience<br>
To be considered for this position, you will have<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Qualifications in information management or a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the use of the internet as a research tool.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service focus and solution orientated approach.<o:p></o:p></p>

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Learning Librarian with expertise in the health disciplines to join our Library Learning Services, Health team at La Trobe University. The Senior Learning Librarian contributes to student success and a positive
student experience in the five health-related Schools at La Trobe by collaborating with academic staff and stakeholders to connect library programs and services to the curriculum. They work closely with team members to develop and deliver academic, digital,
and discipline-specific literacy services, and provide teaching academics with quality learning resource options to support equal access for all students.<br>
The successful candidate:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Has extensive experience in teaching health research skills including evidence-based practice and systematic reviews<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Enjoys working collaboratively with key stakeholders and colleagues<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Can demonstrate knowledge and skills to plan and develop digital learning objects, programs and modules specifically around supporting students in the health Schools<o:p></o:p></p>
