[MCASIlaris] Volunteers for The Value of Us Conference in Western Australia

Hello all WA students

This is a great way to hear about the work being done by libraries and start getting to know your future colleagues. I will be attending the first day and it would be lovely to see some of you there.

ALIAWest is offering LARIS students the opportunity to volunteer at the Value of Us Conference<https://aliawest.alia.org.au/event/aliawest-conference/> in September at the State Library of Western Australia (you do not have to attend both days).

The duties will be:

  *   Helping with registrations both mornings (arrive by 08.30 each day)
  *   Wayfinding between the SLWA Theatrette and the Great Southern Room
  *   Help to organise each group of speakers

Volunteers receive complimentary registration to the full The Value of Us Conference, and a certificate. Hours can be logged for CPD.
Please note, volunteers must be an ALIA member to ensure they are covered with the ALIA Public Liability Insurance (PLI).

If you are interested please submit the registration form - https://form.jotform.com/261432081612851 - by the 16th August. ALIAWest will be in touch by the 19th August to confirm their acceptance or not.
