I noticed that the same council is looking for circulation clerks, which don't require a qualification.

Librarian
Fixed-Term LSL cover February - August 2026
68 hours per fortnight - Piara Waters Library
$84,000 - $97,000 pro rata + 12% Super

You'll be at the heart of planning and delivering a broad range of community outreach events for our youngest customers (including Rhymetime and Storytime), developing programs for youth, and activating the library's Youth Area.

You'll also work closely with the Branch Librarian to ensure effective staff and facility management - your organisational and time management skills will underpin daily library operations,
