The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation is seeking applications for a Librarian for a full-time 3-month contract.

As part of a small library team in a Western Australian state government agency, the successful candidate will assist in reference work, cataloguing and managing subscriptions and databases.

Duties include

  *   Maintain library information services including reference services, journal circulation and management
  *   Provide advice to staff in the use of information systems and databases
  *   Catalogue library resources for staff use and archiving purposes
  *   Maintain special collections including the State Agreements Library
  *   Undertake projects as directed

The position is based in the Perth CBD and the salary is equivalent to Specified Calling (level 1) rates. The Department supports flexible working arrangements.
