Hi Gaby,



I wanted to share that our ALIA Students and New Graduates Group #GLAMRmatch Event is back for 2023!



As an ALIA Accredited Course, the sngg team thought students and Alumni at Curtin University would be interested in our #GLAMRmatch Event.



We have created an EOI #GLAMRmatch 2023 survey on SurveyMonkey that will close on Friday, June 16th.



*(We already have interest from students, graduates, Emerging and Established Professionals to talk with a match from the Academic (Library) sector).



What is #GLAMRmatch?

#GLAMRmatch, is an opportunity to build connections in the GLAMR sector.



Where two individuals from the Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums and Records (GLAMR sector); are matched to have an informal cuppa and chat.



We aim to create a connection between two people, to provide an

opportunity for both to learn about each other's current work or recent

studies.



The concept is simple:

  *   1-hour meet-up with no ongoing commitment for either host or visitor
  *   GLAMR student/professional to share recent learnings, motivations or sectoral experiences



Maybe you are a new professional, graduate, student or looking to change streams.



Or you have questions about joining a different GLAMR sector?



Wish to learn advice on transferable skills and professional development skills required for a GLAMR role?



Joining #GLAMRmatch is your chance to ask questions with a GLAMR Established/ Emerging professional or a LIS student/graduate.



 If you are more of an established professional, keen to meet and share

your experience and learning over the years, you could take on the role

of the host. As a host, you can talk about how you landed your first job or

how relevant your studies have been as a professional.



We would love it if you could share our EOI survey with your mailing list and social media.
