It is critically important that clinicians doing this work keep up with current research findings, and we are looking for a librarianship student to work with us to do this.

Specifically, we want to create:

  *   A robust search strategy for research on medical and forensic responses to domestic, family and sexual violence, including published papers and doctoral theses.
  *   A searchable database on our website for members to look for specific articles or to identify recently published articles. The database should contain keywords, identifying features such as author name and journal details, and a link to any freely available papers. It must be easily accessible, relevant and manageable.
  *   A strategy for updating this database.
  *   Diagnostics to analyse usage trends and evaluate reach of the online research database. An IT expert will principally be responsible for this but will require expert input from you.
We are looking to hire a student, preferably a postgraduate, on a contract basis at an hourly rate of $70. We have estimated that it will take approximately 800 hours to implement the database.
