Celebrate the winter solstice with ghostly tales and a warm drink at National Archives.

Hear short talks featuring our favourite ghost town stories in brief - including a haunting tale from Eucla Telegraph Station, a premier's dream of a new boom for a struggling northwest town, and an abandoned hut that is linked with an incredible story of tragedy and survival.

Warm up with a mulled wine while enjoying a sneak preview of our upcoming exhibition Chilled: Antarctic life, inside and out.

This exhibition includes stunning photographs captured by early 20th century Australian and British expeditions to the frozen continent.
