We are seeking a part-time Learning Success Advisor to join our University Library team in Kalgoorlie. As a Learning Success Advisor, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative ways to provide resources, services and facilities, to support teaching, learning and research. You will also work closely with the Library team at Curtin's Perth Campus, supporting online services and participating in projects.
In this role, you will:
* Provide an information service to clients using appropriate technologies.
* Report on the potential of new services and emerging technologies to meet client needs.
* Lead, plan, deliver and evaluate skills programs and materials to support the development of graduate capabilities by Curtin students.
* Coordinate the spaces in the Library and manage bookings.
* Train, co-ordinate and supervise staff as required.
* Provide a range of research support services and research skills development.
* Lead or contribute to Library initiatives, team planning, working parties and teams.
* Streamline workflows to ensure ongoing efficiencies as a continuous improvement outcome.
* Effectively communicate and promote Library services.
You will ideally have:
* Completion of a relevant degree with relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of diverse groups and individuals.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well within a team situation and the ability to co-ordinate team activities or project work.
* Ability to work independently, proactively and flexibly in a changing environment; manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated experience in providing high quality, client focussed services and innovative problem solving.
* Previous experience working within a library - Desirable
* Experience delivering programs within an education setting - Desirable

Fixed term (12 months), part-time (0.5 fraction)
$92,457 - $99,271 (G07, pro-rata) per annum plus 17% superannuation
The Coordinator, Library Exhibitions and Programs will be responsible for the conception, coordination, and delivery of high-impact visual displays and imaginative programs, providing captivating and inclusive experiences for Library audiences. We are looking for a creative and innovative individual with outstanding organizational and event management skills. In this fantastic opportunity, you will collaborate with a range of diverse groups, including internal and external stakeholders as well as industry and community partners.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
* Manage and oversee exhibitions, space activation and library displays.
* Initiate and implement procedures and systems to enhance client experiences.
* Efficiently coordinate and supervise relevant library events.
* Provide leadership and guidance to Library staff involved in exhibitions, events and space activation.
We are looking for someone with:
* Completion of a relevant degree with considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience, and/or education/training.
* Previous experience within a library/gallery/exhibition field (highly preferred)
* Knowledge and experience with using digital technologies in the design and delivery of experiences.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to provide direction and guidance to staff.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including outside contractors.
