Dear LARIS postgraduate students
You should have received an Official Communication from Curtin giving you some information about the changes we are making to the postgraduate courses in 2023. My apologies for the delay in getting the message out but we were keen to ensure everyone received the OC at the same time and that the FAQs covered most anticipated questions.
I have set a meeting for Monday 3rd October so that you can ask questions about the changes, most particularly about whether to switch to the new courses. I have also created a Google Form for people who can't attend to submit questions. I will answer the questions during the session and the session will be recorded and uploaded to the LARIS Practicum Documents Blackboard site - PG Course Changes section. This part of the site includes the FAQs and the meeting information below.
The session details are:
Monday 3 October at 2pm AWST
Link to join: https://curtin.webex.com/meet/g.haddow
If you cannot make the session but would like to submit a question: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfC9yB5WmuIbuoZj4vXOFFNXILO7g-wEhvjO23Lf9lOCDtsqg/viewform?usp=sf_link
Please note that I will be responding to questions of a more general nature. If you want to discuss your study plan please send me an email. However, all study plans will be fully updated by the end of October and this should clarify many of those questions. Re-enrolments open around the same time.
Best wishes
Gaby

Curtin would like to pay respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members
of our community by acknowledging the traditional owners of the land on which the
Perth campus is located, the Whadjuk people of the Nyungar Nation; and on
our Kalgoorlie campus, the Wongutha people of the North-Eastern Goldfields.
